Lets start with safety – you can read more about it here.

To become a competent kite surfer, you must first learn to fly your kite. For this purpose we have wise and experienced scholars, who will talk to you about safety, teach you to fly a training kite and finally give you riding lessons in the water.

It wont hurt to buy a completely regular ''toy kite'' from your local supermarket and learn to fly it before consulting a kite surfing teacher.

Only start buying equipment once you have adequate knowledge about what equipment to buy. When buying a used kite, be sure to look into the kites properties and thoroughly read through the kites instruction manual. Different kites have different methods for inflating them, attaching the lines, launching, adjusting power etc.

Here we have gathered some of the more general subjects, to which we will add in the future. Please also click on the scholars link – no matter if you are a beginner or a teacher :).
